Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL)
rupture is the most common injury in the dogs knee. Most
dogs require surgical repair of the torn ligament depending
on the grade of tear. During the years many type of
procedures have been developed to stabilize the knee. From
simple and less invasive extra capsular imbricate suture to
more invasive procedures such as the Tibial Plateau leveling
Ostheotomy(TPLO) and the Tibial Tuberosity Advancement
(TTA). We use Fiberwire
and
Tightrope technique for Cranial Cruciate stabilization surgery.
Video for surgery of Tightrope
procedure for CCL We
believe on less invasive procedure is better for anyone. The goal of
the procedure is to have your pet to normal activities
without the discomfort of the unstable knee that causes pain
every time your pet moves.
